Maria Angela Brusco has a diverse litigation practice. She has handled complex commercial disputes, copyright and trademark matters, and fraud cases for clients across a range of industries, including the financial services, art, and technology sectors.  Maria also has represented clients in regulatory investigations, internal inquiries, and corporate governance matters. Maria’s pro bono efforts include advocacy for students affected by lead in the water in Flint, Michigan, and victims of civil rights violations.  Before joining Fishkin Lucks, she clerked for Judge Paul J. Kelly, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and was an associate at White & Case LLP in New York.  

Maria earned her B.A. from Wellesley College and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where she was an associate editor on the Fordham Law Review. Maria received the award for Best Advocate through the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center and remains involved as a coach.  Maria is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of Connecticut.
